Mactan - December 2014

A 3-day School of Ministry was held at the Word for the World Christian Fellowship /  Redemption Church in Lapu-Lapu City, Mactan, from 4-6 Dec 2014. The church is led by Pastor Sammy Apas.

Topics included the gift of the Holy Spirit, tithes and offerings, praise and worship, scriptural prayers for themselves and for one another, receiving healing and the importance of meditating on the Word of God daily.

Participants were also taught that all believers have the keys of the kingdom of heaven.

 ‘And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19).

One brother was healed of a shoulder injury and some were set free of hurts. Many were touched by the Lord, including the children.

Despite the imminent typhoon, the attendees were taught Ezekiel 22:30, which states:

“And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.”

The people stood in the gap for their city, and they prayed and praised the Lord corporately. The weather condition in Cebu was excellent and there was no storm at all. 

Where the presence of the Holy Ghost is, there is healing, deliverance and safety.
